The Auto Pour (T.A.P.), an automated and self-serve tasting room, has signed a lease for its flagship location in Charlotte, NC with Madison Corners, New Forum Partners latest acquisition. Local real estate firm New Forum, Inc. launched the dedicated platform, New Forum Partners, focused exclusively on new development and acquisitions in Summer 2018.
The Auto Pour (T.A.P.) will occupy 2,906 square feet of retail space located at 5033 South Blvd., Suite O, in the neighborhood retail center. The Auto Pour’s self-serve tasting room offers new & innovate technology with taps that provide mere ounces for a tasting, half glass & full glass, all with the swipe of a customer’s stored value card. Guests can choose from a variety of wine, beer and hard cider. Technology is provided by Napa Technology WineStation and Pour My Beer Technology. The Auto Pour (T.A.P.) is set to open in Summer 2019.

Customers can expect to explore sixty-four wines on tap from global, national and local wineries. There will also be a combination of eighteen beer, hard cider and kombucha on tap. Staff will be on hand to answer questions on selection and small plates will be served from the kitchen. The casual atmosphere will include comfortable seating, community tables, a pet-friendly outdoor patio, live music and events throughout the year. “We love that our customers will have the independence to try what they want, when they want. We’ll also have a bottle shop & retail section to conveniently grab-n-go,” added Benny.
Madison Corners is a 34,710-square-foot retail strip center and a 6,600-square-foot outparcel. It has received over $1 million in capital improvements. The renovation includes a re-designed exterior, landscaping, parking lot improvements, new roof, painting & wood features & signage.
Madison Corners is in the heart of the rapidly growing Madison Park, Montclaire and Archdale communities and is approximately three miles northwest of South Park and seven miles south of Uptown Charlotte. More than 91,700 residents earning an average household income of $103,279 live within a three-mile radius of the center.
Jay Mitchener of Thrift Commercial represented the landlord on the lease transaction. Lynn Caldwell of CRE Charlotte, Inc represented the tenant. Architect/interior designer is Raleigh-based Osterlund Architects, PLLC.
New Forum Partners is currently seeking tenants to complement the booming Madison Park neighborhood such as high-end and fast casual restaurants, coffee shops, yoga and fitness users, bakeries or markets. Retail leasing of Madison Corners is handled through Jay Mitchener at Thrift Commercial.
